The Department of Examinations has announced the new date for the 2025 General Information Technology (GIT) Examination for Grade 12 students, which was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.
The Commissioner General of Examinations has announced that the examination is now scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
The Department stressed that students from disaster-affected schools who are unable to sit the examination at their designated centre must inform their respective school principal.
Principals, in turn, must inform the Zonal Director of Education and the Commissioner of Examinations (School Examinations Organisation and Results) regarding any affected applicants from their school.
