Dry weather expected to persist across the country

The Department of Meteorology predicts that most of the island will experience primarily dry conditions today.

Morning frost is likely in certain areas of the Nuwara-Eliya district during the early hours. Additionally, several regions, including the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-western provinces, along with the Badulla, Galle, Matara, and Anuradhapura districts, may encounter misty conditions during the morning.
