The Department of Posts has announced a significant revision of postal rates, effective from tomorrow (9).
According to the new schedule, the minimum postage rate for a standard letter will increase to Rs. 70.
In addition to the basic stamp fees, the department confirmed that charges for registered mail and other ancillary services will also see a proportionate hike.
