Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), currently in Sri Lanka, took time to inspect areas affected by the recent cyclone in Ditwa.
During her visit, the Managing Director engaged with authorities and stakeholders, witnessed firsthand the impact of Cyclone Ditwa, and discussed how the IMF can support recovery efforts and help build a stronger future for all Sri Lankans.
A spokesperson confirmed that the visit is scheduled to conclude on 18 February 2026.
