Tourist arrivals for the month of March 2026 reached 183,979.
This figure reflects a decrease compared to the 279,328 arrivals recorded in February 2026.
Further, the March 2026 arrivals are lower than the 229,298 arrivals reported in March 2025.
The first three months of the year saw the arrival of 740,634, an increase compared to same period last year which is 229,298.
Workers' remittances grew to US$ 814.8 million in March 2026.
This is an increase from the US$ 729.0 million recorded in February 2026.
It also represents a rise compared to the US$ dollars 693.3 million received in March 2025
US$ 2.29 billion were recieved in the first three months in 2026, a surge from US$ 1.8 billion compared to the corresponding period last year.
