An investigation is underway regarding the disappearance of an additional $600,000 intended for the United States Postal Service from Sri Lanka Post, according to Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa.
The inquiry began after the US Postal Service filed a complaint claiming the payment was never received. During a weekly briefing on Cabinet decisions, the Minister confirmed that authorities are currently looking into the matter.
