Over 850,000 tourists visit Sri Lanka

A total of 858,527 tourists arrived in the country during the period between January 1 and April 26.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority states that 117,893 tourists visited the island within the last month.

The authority noted that the highest number of visitors originated from countries such as India, the United Kingdom, Russia, China, and Germany.
