Police arrested two major suspects connected to a drug network operated by Thanuja Sampath, also known as 'Handaya', an alleged organised criminal.
The arrests took place during search operations conducted in the Hiripitiya and Pannipitiya areas.
Investigators identified the apprehended alleged traffickers as Randika Lakshan, known as 'Boja', and Ajantha Dhammika, known as 'Gothaya'.
Officers discovered quantities of Ice, heroin, and Kush in the possession of the suspects. The estimated value of the seized narcotics exceeds Rs.10 million.
