Promotions for Air Force athletes following success at Asian Beach Games

Sri Lanka Air Force personnel who secured medals in wrestling, kabaddi, and long jump at the 6th Asian Beach Games held in China received promotions yesterday. Air Force Commander Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe presided over the ceremony held at Air Force Headquarters. To honour these exceptional achievements, the athletes were promoted from the ranks of Aircraftman and Leading Aircraftman to Corporal, alongside the presentation of special cash prizes.
