Complaints regarding financial fraud on social media through the use of fake photos of young women increased recently, according to the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (SLCERT). Senior Information Security Engineer Charuka Damunupola urged the public to refrain from sending sensitive photos or videos to social media accounts maintained in this manner.
