Water levels in the Maguru Ganga and Kuda Ganga, which are sub-basins of the Kalu Ganga, reached alert thresholds due to ongoing rainy weather.
The Irrigation Department noted that the Maguru Ganga near the Magura area and the Kuda Ganga in Millakanda currently require close observation.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall caused 18 out of 73 major reservoirs to begin spilling over.
Despite these conditions, the Irrigation Department stated that current rainfall levels remain below the limit required to trigger major or severe flooding.
