The Ministry of Health and Media called a special discussion this afternoon (18) to resolve the issues of the Medical Faculty Student Action Committee.
The ministry noted that the Medical Faculty Student Action Committee planned to hold a protest in Colombo today regarding several grievances.
The ministry called this meeting against such a backdrop.
Accordingly, the discussion was called under the chairmanship of the Acting Minister of Health and Media, Dr Hansaka Wijemuni, and representatives of the Medical Faculty Student Action Committee received the opportunity to participate.
