An increase in rainy conditions can be expected in the southwestern parts of the island over the next few days as the southwest monsoon gradually establishes itself across the country.
The Department of Meteorology stated that showers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces.
Showers may also occur in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya districts.
According to the weather forecast issued for tomorrow, light showers may also occur in the Anuradhapura and Mannar districts.
