Heavy rains expected in several areas tomorrow

Heavy rains of about 100 mm may occur tomorrow in some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya districts.

The Department of Meteorology announced that people should remain vigilant about temporary strong winds and lightning hazards that may occur with thundershowers.
