CBL Group chairman passes away

The Chairman of CBL Group, a leading business conglomerate in Sri Lanka, died on 06 June. CBL Group issued an official statement on social media expressing deep sadness over his passing.

Paying tribute to their long-standing leader, the CBL Group stated that Wickramasinghe was a visionary leader who dedicated his life not only to building a successful business but also to creating a community based on care, integrity, and innovation. The company stated that Sri Lanka gained high recognition internationally due to his exceptional leadership and vision, and his kindness and humane qualities touched the hearts of everyone who associated with him.

"He dedicated his life not just to building a company, but to creating an entire community rooted in care, honesty, and innovation. His visionary programme managed to mark Sri Lanka on the world map, and his kindness and humanity brought light to the lives of everyone who knew him," the statement issued by CBL network noted.
