Bail granted to director of Horana elders' home

The director of the Horana elders' care home, who was arrested in connection with a fire that claimed the lives of 13 residents, has been released on bail.

The fire broke out on the afternoon of June 3.

At the time of the incident, 72 residents were inside the facility, including 37 women and 35 men.
