Sri Lanka’s earnings from textile and garment exports fell to US$1,624.7 million during the first four months of this year (January–April),
according to the April report released by the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
During the same period in 2025, textile and garment export earnings amounted to US$1,751.8 million.
This represents a 7.3% decline compared with the corresponding period last year.
