Ninety-day detention orders were obtained for organised criminals Bloemendal Sankha and Modara Chathura, the brother of Modara Nipuna, who were brought back to the country.
The orders were obtained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
The two individuals were brought to the country from Dubai on the past 13th, and Bloemendal Sankha is detained at the Colombo North Crime Investigation Bureau, while Modara Chathura is detained at the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau.
