The diaspora coming together to split Sri Lanka into two pieces is one of the biggest problems at this moment. Uvindu Wijeweera stated this while participating in the Hiru TV Balaya programme broadcast last night.
With the intervention of the diaspora, the international community, and various other parties, these actions are being carried out through the signing of agreements whilst utilising the current government, he said.
"The Dockyard is going to India. Other things are going to others. Therefore, it is clearly visible that although the war was defeated, separatism was not defeated. This operation to split the country into two is moving ahead beautifully from another side without our knowledge," he added.
Wijeweera further commented:
"A government with rulers who read about Russian history and literature is still unable to take the concessional oil offered by Russia. A number of very good, positive proposals were brought to supply oil to Sri Lanka from Russia. Apparently, vehicles do not run when oil is obtained from Russia. Yet, when that exact same oil is brought from India, vehicles suddenly run. These are all racket systems. Because of these, farmers face a massive crisis. Society suffers, and the economic crisis intensified. Amidst all this, the country becomes anarchic. Who benefits from that? Let us mobilise society to this point."
