The first session of high-level talks under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding concluded in Burgenstock, Switzerland, involving representatives from Iran, the United States, Qatar, and Pakistan.
According to an official document from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delegates established a High-Level Committee to provide political oversight and agreed on a roadmap to reach a final deal within 60 days.
The parties set up a direct communication line to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz and formed a de-confliction cell to oversee the termination of military operations in Lebanon.
Mediators Qatar and Pakistan expressed appreciation for the diplomatic commitment shown by both Washington and Tehran, during the positive sessions at the Lake Lucerne Summit.
