Three suspects flee after robbing rural bank in Horana

Three suspects fled after breaking open the safe of the Koralaima Rural Bank located in the Moragahahena area of Horana and stealing gold jewellery contained within.

The police stated that the suspects committed the crime after tying up the security officer of the bank.

It is noted that this occurred between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM today.
