Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva ordered the Colombo Crimes Division to report on the progress of the investigation regarding the attack and shooting on the vehicle of former National Lotteries Board director Thusitha Halloluwa by October 22.
The Magistrate issued this order when the case was called today (25).
He directed the Colombo Crimes Division to launch an investigation to locate the firearm used in the incident and instructed the officers to submit their findings on the next court date.
The suspect currently remains on bail, and the case is scheduled to be heard again on October 22.
