Bus crashes into multiple vehicles in Yalpathwela

A bus travelling from Diyatalawa to Jaffna crashed in the Yalpathwela area on the Bandarawela - Welimada main road this afternoon (27).

Our correspondent stated that the bus first collided with a cab, and subsequently struck two lorries parked near the road and an electricity post before coming to a halt.

The crash caused severe damage to the bus and the other vehicles.

One injured individual was admitted to the Badulla General Hospital for treatment.
