Samantha Kumara, also known as 'Wele Suda,' who was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and remanded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, has been further remanded until July 16, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered today (2).
The order was issued after considering submissions made by the CID when the case was taken up.
The suspect was produced before the court via Zoom technology.
