Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa, secured victory in the Under 18 Boys' Medley Relay at the Hiru Relay Championship 2026, currently taking place at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.

Organised for the fourth time by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association with approval from the Ministry of Education, the championship features over 4,500 students competing in all age categories.
