61,060 dengue patients reported so far

The National Dengue Control Unit reports that total number of patients reported so far has reached 61,060.

The acting director of the unit noted that 5,663 of these infections occurred within the final five days of July.

The death toll stands at 39, a figure that includes five children under the age of five.
