Cinnamon prices cross Rs. 5,000 mark

The Department of Cinnamon Development states that the highest cinnamon prices in history were recorded last May.

Accordingly, the department mentioned that a kilogram of cinnamon is currently being sold at a price between Rs. 5,000-5,500.

High demand and the fluctuations of the rupee have contributed to this increase in cinnamon prices, authorities explained.
