A national program aimed at exports commenced yesterday (15) to establish 144 tea villages across the island under the name 'Ceylon Tea Village'.
Sri Lanka expects to increase its finished tea production to 400 million kilograms and raise tea export earnings to USD 2.5 billion by 2030 through this initiative.
