Meeting held between Navy Commander and the IGP

An official meeting between the new Navy Commander, Vice Admiral Damien Fernando, and Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasooriya took place yesterday (17).

The interaction occurred at the Police Headquarters.

The Inspector General of Police warmly welcomed the Navy Commander upon his arrival at the Police Headquarters.

During the meeting, discussions focused on measures taken to ensure law and order in the country, eradicate the drug menace, and prevent other illegal activities.
