Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena today (22) ordered Sugeeshwara Bandara, former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's private secretary and leader of the Nava Janatha Peramuna, to be remanded again until July 30.
He was arrested by the Central Criminal Investigation Bureau in connection with an incident of drawing salaries for two positions under the Presidential Head of Expenditure.
The Magistrate also ordered that the decision on granting bail will be delivered on that date.
