Showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North Western provinces as well as Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya districts today (26), according to the Department of Meteorology.
Mainly dry weather will prevail across other areas of the island.
Fairly strong winds of about 40 to 50 km/h can occur from time to time over the western slopes of the central hills, Northern and North Central provinces, and Hambantota, Trincomalee, and Puttalam districts, the department stated.
