Mahendra Perera wins best actor award at Malaysian International Film Festival

Veteran actor Mahendra Perera won the best actor award at the Malaysian International Film Festival.

He received the award for his performance in the film "Riverston".

Mahendra Perera won the award while many talented actors from various countries around the world were nominated.

The other actors nominated for the award included Yuray Loy (Broken Voices), Chang Chen (Lucky Lu), Randika Gunathilaka (Riverston), and Nicolas Zarate (The Red Hanger).

This marks the second time Mahendra Perera received an award internationally.

He previously won the best actor award at the Singapore International Film Festival.

In addition, Priyantha Sirikumara, who contributed to the film "Riverston", won the best supporting actor award.
