Rakhitha Rajapakshe and two others produced in court

Attorney Rakhitha Rajapakshe, son of former Minister of Justice Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, along with Samagi Jana Balawegaya former Horana organiser Charith Abeysinghe and former Civil Aviation Authority director Aruna Sri Chathuranga, were brought to court today (28).

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption arrested the three suspects in connection with a bribery scheme linked to organised criminal Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, also known as ‘Harak Kata’.

Following their earlier presentation before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court, they were remanded until today.
