Australian Department of Defence Assistant Secretary meets Navy Commander

Assistant Secretary Karen Radford of the North and South Asia Branch of the Australian Department of Defence met Sri Lanka Navy Commander Vice Admiral Damien Fernando at the naval headquarters today (30).
Discussions during the meeting encompassed a cordial exchange of views concerning various matters of mutual importance to both parties.
Colonel Amanda Johnston, defence advisor at the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, joined the occasion.
Commemorative mementoes were exchanged between both sides symbolising the significance of the meeting.
