The police curfew imposed on three Grama Niladhari divisions in Ragama has been lifted.
Police had imposed the curfew, yesterday (01), on three Ragama Grama Niladhari divisions due to the unrest that broke out at Mahara Prison.
Accordingly, the curfew was imposed on the Kandaliyaddapaluwa - West, Kandaliyaddapaluwa - North and Dambuwa Grama Niladhari divisions.
Since the situation has now been brought under control, a decision has been taken to lift the police curfew that had been imposed.
