Water cut in several areas tomorrow

Water supply will be suspended temporarily in several areas tomorrow (04) for 05 to 16 hours due to an essential maintenance activity to be carried out at Kandana Water Treatment Plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board notifies.

Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended for a period of 05 hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Moratuwa, Koralawella, Katukurunda, Modara, Madamgahawatta, Polwatta, Shriya Pedesa, Clovies Mawatha, Gunawardhanarama Road, Lake Villa, St. Peter's Lane, P.M. Fernando Mawatha, Mahavidana Mawatha, Janapriya Road, St. Peter's Road, Laransisko Pedesa, Egodauyana, and Melville Watta areas.

Likewise, it is mentioned that the water supply will be suspended for a period of 05 hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Panadura, Kiriberiya, Hirana, Keselwatta, and Pinnawala areas.

Water supply will be suspended for 12 hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Bandaragama, Raigama, Milleniya, Walmilla, Kidelpitiya, Alubomulla, and Moronthuduwa areas.

In addition, water will be suspended for 05 hours from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Horana, Kumbuka, and Ingiriya areas.

Horana, Madurawala, Poruwadanda, Kumbuka, Gonapola, Kahathuduwa, Kiriwatthuduwa, Ingiriya, and Nambapana areas are also included.

Meanwhile, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that water will be suspended for 16 hours from 4 p.m. tomorrow (04) to 8 a.m. day after tomorrow (05) for Piliyandala, Werahera, Madapatha, Honthanthara, Kesbewa, Polgasowita, Kahapola, Moratuwa Road, Kospelaena, Gangarama Road, and Nilammahara areas.
