Three Sri Lankan firms recognised at Great Taste awards

Three Sri Lankan companies, Gralgo From Ceylon, Planet’s Finest, and Ceylbee International, received recognition at the Great Taste Awards, one of the world’s most respected food and drink accreditation schemes.

The British High Commission in Sri Lanka congratulated the winners, noting that all three firms receive support through the UK Government‑funded UK Trade Partnerships Programme.

The recognition was hailed as a milestone in their growth journey and a testament to their commitment to delivering high‑quality Sri Lankan products to UK consumers.

Judges assess products solely on taste rather than branding, packaging, or price during a rigorous blind‑tasting process for the Great Taste Awards.

Fewer than a third of entries receive a star, making the accolade a significant mark of quality and a strong platform for international visibility.

The British High Commission also extended congratulations to other Sri Lankan companies that secured success in this year’s awards.
