Raids and investigations were conducted on 362 pharmacies located across the country from 01 January to 30 June this year, the Consumer Affairs Authority stated.
Also, 471 special pharmacy raids were implemented so far this year, the authority said.
Fines amounting to Rs. 2,269,500 were imposed by courts for cases filed during that period.
A special pharmacy raids and investigations programme was implemented by the authority on August 03 and 04, during which 109 pharmacies were inspected and 86 raids were conducted, the authority announced.
