Rain, temporary strong winds forecast for several areas tomorrow

Rain or thundershowers may occur tomorrow (10) in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, as well as in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara Districts, the Department of Meteorology forecast.

Issuing a statement regarding the upcoming weather conditions, the department mentioned that rain may also occur in the Ampara, Batticaloa, and Mullaitivu Districts during the afternoon.

Additionally, the Department of Meteorology further noted that temporary strong winds may also occur in some areas along with the rain.
