Grama Niladharis to go on sick leave today and tomorrow

Grama Niladhari officers launched a two-day sick leave trade union action today (9).

Grama Niladhari Trade Union Alliance Chairman Nandana Ranasinghe says the move is over several unresolved issues, including the failure to increase the current 600-rupee travel allowance provided to Grama Niladhari officers.
