A bus driver and three conductors who operated buses under the influence of narcotics were arrested by the Padukka Police.
The Padukka Police stated that this special drug test took place today (12), targeting drivers and conductors of SLTB and private buses operating through Padukka town.
Over 100 bus drivers and conductors underwent testing during the operation, which was jointly organised by the National Transport Medical Institute and the Padukka Police.
The four arrested suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate's Court on August 13.
