The owner of a beauty salon in Dehiwala, which allegedly operated using expired creams and cosmetics, was arrested by the Consumer Affairs Authority.
Expired cosmetics and creams used for head massages were seized from the location by the Consumer Affairs Authority during a raid conducted based on a complaint received by the Colombo District Consumer Affairs Authority.
The Consumer Affairs Authority took the ingredients used in this manner into their custody, and the owner of the beauty salon is scheduled to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court.
