Temperature in 7 districts rises significantly

The Department of Meteorology forecast that hot weather conditions exist today (14) for the Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Batticaloa, Ampara, and Monaragala Districts.

Accordingly, the department announced that the temperature felt by the human body during the daytime in certain areas of the mentioned districts would reach caution levels.

Meanwhile, the highest temperature yesterday (13) was recorded in Monaragala District, reaching 37.2 degrees Celsius.
