Free Lawyers and Dinana Dakuna discuss 22nd Amendment with Itthapane Dhammalankara Thera

Following a broader discussion with Chief Prelates of the Three Buddhist Chapters on the 22nd Constitutional Amendment, he will personally inform the opinion to the President, said Chief Prelate of the Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha Venerable Dr. Itthapane Dhammalankara Thera.

He made this statement this afternoon (16) at the Rukmale Sri Dharma Vijayaloka Maha Viharaya in Pannipitiya, during a meeting with a delegation of the Free Operation Centre (Dinana Dakuna Collective, Free Lawyers) called on and held discussions with the venerable thera to clarify facts regarding the 22nd Constitutional Amendment.

A group, including President's Counsel Maitri Gunaratne, Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe, and former Member of Parliament Saman Rathnapriya, joined this meeting.
