Final rites of Venerable Rambukana Siddhartha Thera today

Final rites of late Venerable Rambukana Siddhartha Thera are scheduled to be held under state sponsorship this afternoon (21) at the Saranankara Grounds in Dehiwala.

His remains are currently placed at the Sri Sudharmarama Temple in Wellawatte.

A large number of people, including politicians and artists, paid their final respects yesterday (20) to Venerable Rambukana Siddhartha Thera, who rendered an outstanding service to the Buddha Sasana and Buddhist literature.
