‘Bus Lalith’ to be brought back to Sri Lanka

Alleged organised criminal and drug trafficker Lalith Kannangara, also known as 'Bus Lalith', who was arrested in Dubai, is scheduled to be brought back to the island the day after tomorrow (24).

Accordingly, a team of officers from the Central Crime Investigation Bureau left for Dubai yesterday morning to bring the suspect back to the country.

The suspect was arrested by local police last October following a tip-off provided by officers of the Central Crime Investigation Bureau.
