A man was killed in a sharp weapon attack launched by a neighbour following an escalated dispute during a party held at a residence in the Kottalbadda area of Kekirawa.
Kekirawa Police initiated investigations based on a message received early this morning (23), and the deceased is a 56-year-old resident of the same Kottalbadda area.
Police investigations revealed that this murder occurred when an argument that arose with a person from a neighbouring house during the party at the deceased person's residence escalated.
The suspect fled the area following the incident, and Kekirawa Police are conducting further investigations to arrest him.
