The Joint Opposition has issued a special statement stating that it vehemently condemns the protest held by a few individuals in front of the Bar Association headquarters in Hulftsdorp, Colombo, demanding the immediate resignation of the President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
The statement further notes that no member or party of the United Opposition was involved in this low and uncivilised act.
The Joint Opposition requests the public not to fall for the childish and deceitful actions of the government, as the NPP government, which is becoming increasingly unpopular among the public day by day, further proves by engaging in such activities that they do not have public support.
