Water supply to be restored within the next few hours

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the water supply, suspended due to an emergency condition affecting the quality of water at the location where water is obtained from the Kelani River, is expected to be restored within the next few hours.

However, it is mentioned that a delay may occur when restoring the water supply in areas such as Battaramulla, Kotte, Pamankada, and Nugegoda.
