“Bus Lalith” handed over to Central Crime Investigation Bureau

Lalith Kannangara, also known as 'Bus Lalith', brought to the island, was handed over to the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau for further investigations.

He, an organised criminal known as Lalith Kannangara alias Bus Lalith who was arrested in Dubai, was brought to the island early today (25).

A team of officers from the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau departed for Dubai recently to bring the suspect to the country.

The suspect was arrested by the police in that country in October last year following a notification provided by officers of the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau.
